  Unfortunately not worth the money (even with the deal).
  
  I've been horse riding for 15 years and would say I am an experienced rider therefore I booked this trek because it said it catered to all abilities as I wanted my partner to experience riding a horse as he'd never ridden one before.
  
  It was clear from the beginning they just want the money and to take you on the most boring ride ever. I wasn't expecting much as with most horse treks they are wary of safety and horses can obviously be unpredictable. But at least get off your phone, talk about the surrounding area, get to know the ability of your riders. I tried to ask if there was an opportunity to go faster for experienced riders but got told to keep following thie others when I pulled my horse out just slightly from behind the marching line we were in and to stay back by the very curt 'guide'.
  
  I'd been looking forward to riding in NZ since we moved out here 2 years ago and saw this as the perfect opportunity in the back country but I was so disappointed wasting my money. I really hope they improve on their hospitality. Shame on us for doing something so touristy.
  Beautiful horses, beautiful location, bad hospitality.
