  We stayed at the Scenic Hotel 2 nights. The rooms are comfortable and views were amazing. The highlight of the hotel was the Glass house restaurant. I can honestly say the dining experience was the best we have had in New Zealand. We have travelled both the North and South island and enjoy experiencing different food and we know quality when we see it. The staff are very friendly and the service is 10 out of 10. We ordered mains and dessert and was not only delicious but the presentation was perfect and priced reasonably well. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back. If you struggling to decide where to have dinner. Give Scenic Hotel at Franz Josef a try and you won't be disappointed.
